Interested in Joining the Madison Area YMCA Rays Artistic Swimming Team?
Tryout details for the 2025–2026 season (September through May) are below! Prospective swimmers will participate in a brief warm-up and demonstrate essential swimming skills.
Minimum Requirements:
- Ages 10 & Under: Must be able to swim 25 yards of continuous freestyle (front crawl).
- Ages 10 & Over: Must be able to swim 50 yards of continuous freestyle (front crawl).
All swimmers should bring a swim cap, goggles, a positive attitude, and be ready to listen and follow instructions.
Swimmers who meet the minimum requirements will be evaluated for team placement. Those who are not yet ready may be encouraged to build skills through our Introduction to Artistic Swimming class.
